This year's Presentation Dinner was held at Etchinghill Golf Club. The facilities offered were of a very high standard and the food was cooked and served to perfection. We have Sonia Munday to thank for all the organisation as well as others who contributed on the night. These included Angela Pumfleet who did an excellent job this year managing and presenting the competition awards. Also to Christina Sandy for the fun stage presentation that had us captivatingly absorbed to the very end. Special thanks were also offered by the chairman to Jim Betts for the great job managing our green this year.

It is with great sadness we inform of the loss of one our active members on Saturday 17th August.
Tom Small enjoyed an entertaining Friday afternoon of bowls but on the Saturday morning he was taken ill in his garden and rushed to Ashford Hostpital. He died soon afterwards. Our thoughts extend to his family at this time.
Flowers from close family only. Donations to the RNLI.
Please do not wear Black or Pink.
There is a home match at 2.30 that day. Tom's family hope that those members who wish to attend Tom's funeral and are picked to play in the match will still be able to play.
On a sunny and very warm Sunday afternoon in August we welcolmed Charing to our home venue.
